We usually don’t make a lot of Christmas food since what we eat on Christmas Eve (that’s the day we celebrate Christmas in Sweden) is plenty enough to make you crave ordinary food again.
However, there are two things we always make a lot of so that we can go and munch on it through the entire Holidays season: ham and meatballs!

Beef "TeriJerky"

Last week I posted a recipe for a Teriyaki sauce that is free from gluten, soy, refined sugars and shady additives.
I described how it suddenly hit me how much I missed Teriyaki flavor.
And how I then made some.
After that, I of course started thinking about what to make from it…and just as suddenly it hit me that I also really miss Teriyaki flavored beef jerky.

Ground Game Goulash

Goulash…what is there not to love about it?
This recipe is not the traditional Goulash, but all the right flavors are there…

It was quite a cold day, and I was craving a warm, comforting soup to make the day feel a little less depressing…
I happened to have both deer stock and the separated tallow available from a recent batch, plus a few packs of minced wild boar…
Suddenly a ground game Goulash seemed obvious.

Don’t worry if you don’t have minced wild boar or deer stock available, just replace it with any game meat/stock, or beef for that matter, and you’ll definitely have a great soup to get you both warm, full and smiling!
